The weekly digest can also go to a Slack channel as a short message. It shows the week’s headline, how many people answered, revenue by channel, new names, what moved and a link to your reports. Answers stay out of Slack. Respondents’ words and emails are only in the email digest, which goes to workspace members.

Set it up

  1. In Slack, create an app for your workspace (or reuse one), turn on Incoming Webhooks, and add a webhook for the channel you want. Slack gives you a URL like https://hooks.slack.com/services/T…/B…/….
  2. In Rumorly, under Settings → General, paste the URL into Slack digest and save.
  3. Select Send test to Slack. This week’s digest arrives marked [Test].
Only https://hooks.slack.com/… URLs are accepted. The URL works like a password, so Rumorly stores it encrypted and never shows it again. To change the channel, paste a new URL. To stop posting, remove it. Owners and admins with a confirmed email address can set it up. The Slack digest follows the email digest: same Monday 08:00 UTC schedule, same on/off switch, and quiet weeks are skipped. It is part of the Growth plan and higher. If Slack answers with an error, for example after the webhook was removed in Slack, the email still goes out. Send a test to check the connection.
