# CSV import and Paste answers

> Bring in answers you already have, on any plan, including Free.

Both live under **Imports** in the dashboard and work on every plan. Imported answers count toward your monthly allowance (50 on Free).

## Paste answers

The quickest way to see Rumorly work. Paste up to 200 answers, one per line, and select **Classify answers**. Results appear as each answer is classified, and everything also lands in **Responses**. Pasted answers have no email or user id, so they show up in reports by channel but can't be matched to revenue.

## CSV import

For exports from Typeform, Google Forms, an old survey or your CRM.

1. Upload a CSV with a header row: up to 5 MB and 10,000 rows per file.
2. Pick the column that holds the answer. Optionally map email, user id (`external_id`), name, date and question columns. Rumorly guesses the mapping from your headers.
3. Start the import. Progress is shown live; a 1,000-row file is classified in a few minutes.

Rows without an answer are skipped and counted. Each import is processed once, even if the worker restarts midway. Importing the same file twice creates its answers twice, so import each file once.

> [!WARNING]
>
> An import is refused with a `402` if it has more rows than your remaining monthly allowance. Split the file or upgrade under **Settings → Billing**.
